    Fuel tank filling

This under $3.00 cap works great for me. This picture was taken when I had my 2014 Eco Diesel. Works the same way on my 2017 2500. I have never had a problem of any kind when fueling up. Sure do not know what the answer is.

    Fuel tank filling

I always use the 1st setting on the handle so it fills slowly thus giving less foam allowing to get a good full tank. I have done this on all the diesel trucks I have owned and the new ones with the double flaps in the filler tube you can add very little after it cuts off.*

    The First Ram Prototype.

It would not meet EPA's standards. I'm sure Sheep **** smell is above-allowed level on the on the stink-o-meter.*:D

    Letter Re: Dodge Ram Truck

A lot of Ram 1500 owners received that same BS letter. Those law firms troll these forums looking for information about any problem that crops up with any car or truck. The junior member of the law firm is assigned that task. *

EASY! Cummins 6.7 2013 and up oil change

Just finished reading through this thread. I have a few miles to go before I have to worry about an oil change, Just setting on 3537 miles on my 2017. I will say I much preferred changing oil on my old Cummins :-) but with all the info on this thread I see no problem when the time comes.:)

    Tow-Haul Mode

Thanks for all the replies. I use tow-haul with exhaust brake when driving in heave stop and go city traffic and it sure saves on use of the breaks. On the highways I only set the exhaust break on 1/2 way. Will add the information from my trip north tomorrow.

    Tow-Haul Mode

Was wondering how many of you drive non-towing with the two-haul mode on. Pros and cons doing so. I just drove down to NE Oregon from NE Washington and going back north tomorrow and plan to make the trip with the Tow-Haul on to compare mpg. It was 18.4 hand Calculated doing 70 MPH on the highway...

    PID’s for EDGE monitor

Shorthorn, My edge was set for my 1500 ECO Diesel so it needed to be updated for the 6.7. I do not know if the VGT PID was on it as the ECO Diesel did not have a factory installed exhaust break. The GDE tune had it. I called and talked to EDGE and they said it had to be updated for my new 6.7.

    Regen indicator

I have my Edge CTS 2 Insight set up to monitor 12 different PID's with the last columns on the right showing EGT's 2,3,4 & 5. and I think 3 and 4 are the ones that get the highest during a regen, I have yet to have any indication on the EVIC about regens so I assume the passive regens are...

    Wiring in a dash cam.

Has anyone used the wiring in the overhead counsel to wire in the dash-cam. What would the pros-cons be? I know that a number of folks have done this with the 1500 Eco Diesel. I assume the wiring would be the same in the 2500 & 3500.

Is there no EGT gauge on the newer Rams

Joseph Donnelly, I just came back to the Cummins from the Eco Diesel and I had my Edge CTS 2 reprogramed for the cummins could you message me what parameters you recommend. I also had some gassers in betwen my old Rams and these electronically controlled beasts. *

Diesel Fuel Additives for the 6.7

I used Amalgamated in my older Rams but switched to opti-lube with my Eco Diesel and now with the 2500 for the lubricity provided. I started this thread as I was curious what others were using and appears that opti-lube is the favorite. *
