    Water Pump Recall

I’m right at 56,000 miles. I would give it a check. It’s easy to do and could prevent a failure.

    Water Pump Recall

Just a FYI. I have a 2014 with the bad water pump. I blew out the infamous plastic Y pipe on the upper radiator return line a couple weeks ago. Saturated the Serpentine belt. So since I needed to do the Y pipe, and serpentine belt, I decided to do the water pump as well. At the time Genos didn’t...

Cummins “endorses” Power Service products now.

    Loud Metallic Tick at Idle

I know I’m late to the thread but OP dont worry, I have a 2014 6.7 with 55,000 miles on it. Mine has sounded just like yours since day one.

    Curb weight of 2500

Ok thanks for clearing that up.

    Curb weight of 2500

I remember something about them leaving off 200lbs from the sticker to account for driver weight since most people forget to account for their own body weight when figuring loading capacity. So that would put it right at the 7,820 lbs.

    4g w/rear a/c?

I have a SLT and mine has the floor vents as pictured above. No upper vents. Never had any complaints, and the dog really likes the floor vents lol. These trucks cool off/warm up pretty quickly. Especially if you have the temperature settings where you want them when you turn off the truck. Then...

Coming up on the first oil change

Bingo. Plus When you look up those filters on the Baldwin site, the numbers dont even cross reference. They list some Cummins engines but not our B series that I found under the dual flow section.

Coming up on the first oil change

No thanks. You copied and pasted the same exact thing in 10 different threads. You aren't fooling anyone. Sorry buttercup. You're making yourself look like a fool. P.S. If I wanted a Baldwin I would buy a Baldwin. Not a rebranded Car quest. But, I think I'll stick with the Cummins recommended...

Coming up on the first oil change

Your attempt at peddling the Carquest filters is getting very annoying. I will never go into a Carquest again. Thanks

Sold my POS 2015 today. Never looking back!

I think you'll be fine once you get the new flash and SCR. I got the bad DEF code as well the first time my SCR went bad. Not an issue since the recall to replace with the new units that don't have the ammonia sensor. I fill my DEF tank up all the way most of the time and don't have issues...

Sold my POS 2015 today. Never looking back!

I would be willing to bet that it takes care of the issues. What brand of DEF are you using?

    The Crap vacationers

It's over the counter. No bag limit. Reporting form sent to you at the end of season just like for migratory bird stamp

Sold my POS 2015 today. Never looking back!

I have had a heck of a time with my truck. I have 46,600 miles on it currently. Since I bought it new off the lot in October of 2014, it has spent 31 days in the shop. It is a work truck, I'm a contractor, so it gets used hard as it should, but not abused. I have had a turbo fail, the...

    Anyone using a Radar Detector?

It's easier to run a switched power feed off the cigar lighter in the cab. This is the recommended location to tap inside the cab for switched power according to the Ram Bodybuilders guide published by Ram. I did a write up with pictures on mine over on another site for grabbing switched power...

    Castrol GTX 15/40 diesel oil

Bingo. That's what I was getting at but worded much better by yourself.

    Castrol GTX 15/40 diesel oil

I have 3 gallons of the new Delo 400 CK4 15/40 sitting on the garage floor ready for my oil change in the next few days when I get around to doing it. Delo and all other oils meeting the specification for our trucks are fine to use, and are pretty much commodity status, if you are changing your...

Secure handgun mounts in 4th gens

Bummer. You got that right about the crap under the seats. I actually just picked up some gun magnets for my truck to move the .45 from the drivers door to the consol trim right next to my leg. It's a shame you have to go through so much crap in CA to be compliant.
