Going to order a new RAM 3500 next week. Now my wife asks me.. "Do we actually need a four wheel drive truck?" Good question dear... We are NOT going off-roading any more, we live in relatively level area of Ohio, no mountainous roadways, last few years snowfall has averaged less than 4...

Hey Buddy, maybe you have been asked this previously, if so, I missed your reply, but I see U R running a 4X4. Is there any reason pro or con, why an OTR guy like yourself would need a 4X4? And would there be any MPG numbers available to compare running a 4x4 vs a 4X2 the miles that U run ...

Front Leveling Kit 2017 Ram 3500 DRW

O-Kay, now I know for darned sure why the RAM 3500 wheels won't fit the Dexter 12K axles.. It is so simple, I shoulda thunk of it a lot sooner...The Dexter 12K axle uses a .625" wheel lug bolt and the RAM 3500 uses a .55118110236" or 14 MM lug... Now I know... I'm not sure just what will happen...

New here a few questions about a new 3500 DRW.

I'm sorry, Nick. I missed your previous answer... (duuhhh.. stupid me...) but, I read in the manual that the Ram wheel bore is 121MM, and I think that computes to just a very few one-thousanths more than 4.75...I don't wanta start an argument with ya, cuz U probly know more than me.. It's...

Front Leveling Kit 2017 Ram 3500 DRW

Does anyone know if the RAM 3500 Dually wheels will fit a Dexter 12000# axle? I've asked a dozen people, and have not yet received a definitive answer. I kniw that the Dexter 12K takes a 4.75 Hub piloted wheel, and our 3500 dually wheel bore are just a thousanths larger than 4.75, but I...

The Radio Flyer received six new rubbers today.....

Nick, One reason for thinkin' reg cab is some places we hafta deliver to, have limited space to maneuver a 48' trailer load of foam around in, I agree for travel comfort the looonger, the goooder, but we have the North East corridor as our delivery "lanes" and space ain't one of our "perks" up...

Vavolinbe Blue 15-40 Synthetic Lube Oil.. SNOKING, Do you have that info about the Valvoline Blue on "Good authority"..? If so, thanks... That would probably be as good or better than most to continue running. I have had extremely GOOD LUCK running Shell Rotella T-6, so that is what I...

C12V98; A friend gave me a tip which I thot was worth passin' on: He says every time he sprays off his rig, he sprays the fins on his Mag-Hytec to keep'em clean from road crap and thus keep'em cooler.. maybe ??

SNOKING: Absolutely beautiful truck! I love that color combination.. That is 'zactly (well almost) that I ordered in my very first 1994 2500 SRW.. I see that you bought the "Bucket seat" pkg; would you suggest that pkg for a "Hot-shot" truck ? Thanks for your reply.. Olde Bob (18Dodger18)

The Radio Flyer received six new rubbers today.....

Thanks, C12V98, for your reply.. I'm not "shotting" yet, but....have the opportunity to get in towing lite-wate frate in the north-east. I have noticed that both you and Greg run 4X4's... Is there any real benefit in that? My '09 6.7 is a 4X4, and I am convinced that the reduced MPG does not...

The Radio Flyer received six new rubbers today.....

Greg, I have been "lurking" in the background for a couple years, just musing at some of the chatter between you and several other Ram-Runners on here, but one topic that nobody seems to grumble much about is MPG, with their newer 6.7's. I have owned a dozen 5.9's and only one 6.7, which my...
