    I’ve had my 4x4 Sprinter for 10 years and it’s been great. (Contrary to the horror stories you hear on Sprinter Source) Have a good time with it!

    Pacbrake and GDP secondary fuel filter mount

    My Pacbrake stuck on several times right after installation. I added a 100 psi regulator and it’s been fine since. It seems like it’s the solenoid, not the butterfly/air cylinder.

    rear window leak water

    It was years ago; it might have been something else… I remember using a little water and some gentle puffs from an air hose. (I can’t check mine right now, the rear window doesn’t work) My main leaks were the center high mount stop light and the cab vents.

    Possible a/c issue

    I had similar symptoms with my 2007 manual transmission. Driving at low rpm with the ac on, (across a parking lot) the motor would stumble in a cycle. It ended up being the ac compressor clutch. The bad clutch also produced many random codes. I replaced the compressor, deleted the codes and all...

    Tires

    I’ve had them on my dually for about 9000 miles, almost all towing. They work well in the winter for an all-season tire. I rotated them at 5000 miles; so far so good.

    Firewall insulation laying on valve cover fix

    I formed some Kydex in the oven. Then drilled holes in the center of the rubber plugs at the bottom of the cowl plenum. (after removing them) (They are used to access something at the back of the head, I think…) The dimples are deep enough to snug the screws (M5?) and not crush the insulation...
