Fuel injector time ??? issues on My 2006 5.9 this time.

I think I know the answer, I'm looking for 2nd opinion, with $$$ of injectors I don't want to guess wrong. My last trip to my camp I was driving my 06 3500 4x4 dually, & whenever putting load on truck i.e. hill climb, or running above 71 mph, I would get an audible chime alert ans grid hearer...

Low power when climbing or accelerating 05-5.9 2wd 3500 Dually

Fuel pump was running, yesterday my running mate pulled and cleaned the MAP sensor, loaded with the same trailer load as before, he went on a test drive, power restored, accellerated as before , little smoke, and "hill climb" to 80 mph without issue. Thank You for responding

Low power when climbing or accelerating 05-5.9 2wd 3500 Dually

As title of post says losing power, no codes, fuel filter changed, 2nd one in 2 weeks 1st one changed for pre trip maintenance, I did not see that filter myself. "Rest of the Story" this past week we have been using our 05 Dodge 5.9 dually, in support of a Southern Baptists disaster relief...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

When I get back to US I'll be conferring with one of my marine diesel buddies that works for MTU and see what their recommendations are, also the Caterpillar rep that worked at same shipyard I used to work at.

Other than the PS bio-kleen which ranks #10 on this list https://gobestdrive.com/best-diesel-fuel-algae-treatment/?page=2#compare any other recommendations/experience from it, or stuff to "run away from"?

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

Thank You I will be checking into this when I return from Argentina & back in the US. Some good FYI here https://crankfix.com/algae-in-diesel-fuel/

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

Agree ergo better fuel filtration and biocide once I identify which will provide best protection.

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

Thank you again to all that have responded, I'm in Argentina now working on that ferry I posted info on. Unless bio fuel added/blended to our pump fuel unknowingly I'm running "normal" #2 Diesel fuel, and when I travel away from home I do not used any bio-D marked pumps. Again I do not know if...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

As we used to say in USN Post Op Test Sat (post repair operational test satisfactory). I went on a short road test this evening maybe 5 miles round trip, truck performing as it was before I started having the high rail pressure issue @ idle see attached photos of engine data: Noted there is a...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

Success or at least looking that way, much improved I still need to go for a test drive. Thank You all for the remote tech assist. I will update more after test drive. Clean fuel & new FCA was the ticket, no fluctuating rail pressures up to 1476 engine rpm have a look at the attached photos...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

It is unique , based on a catamaran hull (2) 30Kshp turbines each driving a water jet in each hull, dual fuel ; Diesel & LNG that gets expanded to gas fuel once vessel is underway for greener operation and has enuff heat energy to "boil the liquid gas" in a heat exchanger in each GT exhaust...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

Wow as I start peeling back the layers of the memory banks how this has transpired, I have been dealing with this since last October in some degree. My truck is not a daily driver it was bought to pull our Church disaster relief ministry equipment trailer (hurricanes, floods, tornado recovery)...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

Ditto one of my concerns once I installed the AD as it was keeping original WIF in basically original location AFTER?? fuel filters, I will be adding separate WIF sensing prior to the AD inlet once I get bandwidth in my schedule to add it. I should say I'm semi-retired (I'm consulting now i.e...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

Thank you for responding AH64ID Overkill I know, I'm not a fan of in tank fuel pumps, or wimpy rail mounted pumps; on my GMs I built my own dual filtration system with dual lift pumps higher volume I can selectively turn on as more fuel might be needed, fuel pressure monitoring, vacuum switches...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

Thanks for replies guys, this truck has stock auto trans; as far as I know the truck is stock for the most part, 4" exhaust straight from turbo, no muffler with 5" tip (done prior to my ownership), there was an early Bully Dog programmer in the truck I reset back to stock levels, I added the...

High rail pressure at idle after truck sitting a week

I own a 2006 Dodge 5.9L 3500 4x4 219K miles now, I'm 3rd or 4th owner of this truck new to me in 2017 purchased at 199K miles. I am as title says am having high rail pressures at idle 750 rpm. Up to this point a pretty decent running truck engine wise, bearing hubs, brakes, steering not so...

Charging Issues 2006 3500 WoW who would have thunk it possible being this simple

Replaced 3 of 4 cables, X-over on Positive to positive and both battery ground cables, I looked but didn't find a "common parts list" I had one of those on a 6.5 forum I ran back in the day, if someone knows of such a list here please point me to it. I'm looking for the part # of the 4th cable...
