What is that? would be better just to buy a used one ?

I couldn’t start the truck so I had to heat it up with a torch but it snapped flush.

I’ve been fighting putting this new turbo on broke a stud on the exhaust manifold and had to drill it out and tap it. I ended up just using a grade 10.9 bolt on it. It’s as tight as I can get but I’m a little worried that the gasket isn’t sealed all the way.

No wiggle I hit a couple times and nothing. I’m gonna drag the torch out again and heat it and try to brake it loose.

So i just need to take the nuts off or do I have to back the studs off ?

I got everything disconnected from the turbo and I got all four bolt broke loose from the manifold but the turbo still won’t come off. Any ideas of what I’m doing wrong?

I need some advice for a new turbo. I’ve been looking at the ATS aurora or fleece cheetah. I wanna keep my exhaust brake. Anyone how they either of them work with bigger injectors? I don’t pull to often when do it’s only a 9k camper. Mainly a daily driver. 2013 2500 longhorn 45% over s&s...

I’ll take a look at that tonight thanks. Also last night Well I was working on the truck I found out that my blinkers and brake lights ( still stating on) only work if The hazards are In the on position. I can get the third brake light to turn off if I pull the hazard fuse

I live in the top part of Texas not much corrosion. I did however disconnect my trailer brake controller and I still have the same problem

On my 99 my brake lights and third brake light won’t turn off. I replaced the brake switch and the wiring harness about 2 foot up due to it being Burnt Wires and melted the plug. The only way the lights turn off is if I disconnect the battery’s . Blinkers work but four-way doesn’t.

I have video of me spinning the turbo and trying to wiggle it but don’t know how to upload it here lol! There is very little play on it.

Trucks fully deleted. Rebuild after drop cylinder 5&6. Burns 3-5 quart every 3,000ish miles. No smoke at idle, little puff at start up and a lot when I get one it.

Fully deleted now. Rebuilt because it Dropped 6 Cylinder.Every once in a while I’ll get "TURBOCHARGER BOOST CONTROL "A" SLOW RESPONSE". I lose 3-5 quarts every 3,000ish miles. Lots of black smoke when I get on it , A little puff at start up,and none at idle.

I had my engine rebuilt late last year and ever since then I haven’t had a exhaust break. I also have been losing a good amount of oil like dipstick won’t show any. Anyone think I could be losing that much oil through my turbo?
