    4th gen Diesel/Gas truck differences

Can of worms. But, I like the idea of swapping a 12 valve engine. You might not be able to use the modern transmission, or instruments though.

    Good-bye EcoDiesel, Hello Cummins

Until they choke it down with emissions control stuff, making it expensive to maintain, and unreliable. Then, a V8 gasser might be the better choice. Who knows, miracles might happen and they might product a winner.

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

I've heard, on other sites, major issues with random gremlins. When it was all said and done, it was that several fuses weren't seated fully. Something to check regularly. Jeep Wranglers have that issue too. It's a part of their routine check list.

    2025 order run around

FYI, you can replace the 1234yf with 134a. All manuals(joke) say not to do it, but I have done the swap, a few months ago, in another vehicle I own. It works be at. The adapters to do it are only around $10. My a/c blows just as cold with the 134a in it, and I've had zero issues.

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

I'm looking at possibly selling my 06 4x4, with under 190,000 miles on it. But, first year anything scares me. I've been down that road before. So, I might hold off for a.year or more, until the gremlins are exposed on the new 6.7, and its newly designed CP8 injector pump. They say it is over...

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

Well, hopefully you still feel that way after things go kaboom, when the EGR system clogs up. .

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

Hmm, interesting system from FASS. Does anyone else do this.

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

Strictly for the engine. Not performance. The less exhaust being pumped back into the engine, the longer it will last, and the fewer parts will be clogged up. It doesn't matter how new the engine is, if it has and EGR on a Diesel engine, it will eventually cause problems. Always has. Now, if...

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

Anyone know if aftermarket has come out with mods for this new engine, to increase reliability, and drop weight?

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

But now they make the same hill, without dropping down several gears, and overheating the engine. Better to have and not need than need and not have. At least that has been my motto on several things. .

Southeast TX. My Big Horn stickered at a little over $43k, but I talked them down.

    Any BOMBERS still around??

Do larger Injectors, in my 06 count as BOMBing?

    Lock Your Doors!

I bought my 06 new, for $32,000. I'm having a hard time trying to convince myself into buying a 2025. Not there yet. My 06 has only 187,000 or so miles, and the paint looks still almost new.

Stellantis is recalling 317,630 2017 2018 RAM's due to a faulty ABS unit

Could it be, they are just trying to get the Diesel owners in to download the.new software, to make them more eco-friendly?? Was it Ford or Cummins that was caught up in the diesel emissions rigging scandal over the past year or so. It seems nobody was bringing their trucks in, to get them...

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

I've been doing a bit of reading on this new 2025 Ram, and it has me tempted to trade in my 2006 2500 5.9 . Have they finally worked out the bugs with the emissions problems?? Possibly. Have they improved the MPG with all the included emissions? No. I have had lengthy conversations with...

    2025 Ram 2500/3500 6.7 Cummins

Well, let's talk about it. All kinds of big power numbers are out there, regarding the 2025 Cummins. I'm good with that, but still hesitant about emissions on the newer diesels. Also, I don't know how reliable switching to glow plugs will be.
