Nope. Mechanical failure would be if the connector burned up for instance without signs of outside influences (water ingress or corrosion). The Maxcare won't cover seals and hoses either. As those are considered consumables. This is another reason why these warranties are a scam on hybrids...

You must be lucky. My work truck 3500 is usually out of alignment needing something every 60-70k. My 2020 1500 was out of alignment at 50k. I have these when I replace suspension/steering parts. They work great for getting an initial adjustment, but do take work to get it right on.

Depends on where you live with the roads. Where I live, roads chew up alignments and suspension components. Tires are expensive too.

All you need to do is find a buddy who has a truck or trailer, and take them off and just bring the over there. Since they have no clue what they are going on, they have no liability. If they do ask, just tell them it's for offroad use only on a custom vehicle. It's nonna their business.
