I have a small question. It may seem dumb, but I do not know the answer right off. Our TD has 19,000 miles on it. In the warm weather the turbo kicks in, but in this cool weather it does not. I am understanding it has to be hot for the trubo to kick in. Ex:we were towing our tt (7000 lbs) home...

I thank i posted in the wrong area. we just returned from vac, to Yellowstone the fuel mileage was 10 to 10. 5 on flat and hills. at 65 mph. towing 7000lb TT. around town and highway we get 18,18. 5. ( not towing)

just returned from our vacation to Yellowstone and was wondering about our fuel mileage. got 10 to 10. 5 towing. we tow about 7000lb tt. 2002,3500, 4x4, 5spd, 410 gears, drivin about 65 constant. (that was hills and flat land combined) STOCKED.
