    Cup holder

Mactruck Thanks for the offer. I may have to take you up on that before it is all said and done. I think if I can produce some evidence, so to speak, they will order and install the part for me. They really did seem clueless as to what I was talking about. At this point I hope to just get...

    Cup holder

Hello Again, I have been running submerged for a while. Hadn't been to the site for about 3 months due to work. Glad to be back. Anyway, I need a part number for the cup holder that is shown in the manual for 2001 trucks for the rear seat. I read a thread a while back about this and I...

Synthetic Oil.... Good price Delvac 1

Thanks for the post. I have been searching around locally and I can't find it. The closest place I have found is a dealer who is about 35 to 40 miles from my house. His price is higher than you are paying including the shipping cost. I'll continue to search locally but I'll order me some next...

Crude oil price dropping. Is gas gonna?

You need to move to the Red Stick. $1. 26/gal. It is funny how the price varies so much across the state. We have the oil, we produce the oil, we refine the fuel and we get the shaft.

    Best Mileage Injectors

JJ, Who is everyone?? Anyone you know or just testimonials on their web site? They wouldn't post a testimonial from someone that said the gizmo was a piece of junk. It may work perfectly. I'm just curious who "everyone" is.

    Aeroquip SS Fuel Line Kit

Vaughn, In your kit design you replace the lines where the steel tubing ends under cab all the way to the injection pump. I was curious why you didn't replace the whole line back to the tank with a larger diameter hose pipe (as we say here in Louisiana)?? Since the larger diameter would make it...

    Certified Mileage!

JP If you look in the JC Whitney catalog there is a magnetic device you place over your fuel line that supposedly breaks up the larger fuel molecules so the fuel can burn more evenly, hence increasing the mileage. About $15. 00 in the JC. Whitney catalog. Check it out. I've...

    Certified Mileage!

JP On your next trip, buy one of those magnetic gizmos for about $15. 00 and try it out. Hell I bet with that thing you would hit 35 to 40mpg. My next short trip (200 miles or so) I will try a run at 55 mph if I can stand it.

    Certified Mileage!

Hey, Under what conditions did you get the good mileage results (mph, cruise or not, hills or flat land, etc. )You have some impressive mileage numbers. Also what modifications have you made that you feel directly contributed to your increased mileage. As for certified mileage, I do not...

    What would you get?

I will only comment on the bedliner. I have Line-X and I like it. Whatever brand you go with consider having the rocker panels sprayed with the same matterial. Looks good, no chiped paint, easy to clean. Good luck.

    Anyone Have a US Junkbox?

I got one and I like it also. There never is enough places to store things and this item helps. It has a nice long trough in the front that I use currently to store a golf umbrella (a farm jack or short rifle should also fit there). The only draw back is that it gets shallow toward the rear of...

    Fuel Filter- OEM part #

Mad Max Thanks for the info. I scoured the link and found the list you spoke of. I had orriginally searched the archives however only looked in the thread title and then again only for fuel filters. I saved the link for future reference. A nice long list of part numbers for most of the common...

    New high idle controller

Shortshift: No, you don't need the factory cruise for the High Idler to work. It plugs into the TPS, and is activated by the supplied On/Off switch. It seems PS could go one step further with this gizmo and make it a combined high idle/cruise contrtol device that works with the TPS. I don't...

    Fuel Filter- OEM part #

I picked up a fuel filter from the dealer (got raped on the price) and I think they gave me the wrong one. I still have it in the box and will probably return it and order from Genos. Does anyone have the correct Mopar (OEM) part # for the fuel filter that goes in the ETH 2001 engine. I have...

    Royal Purple

John, I used Blackstone labs and I will be using them again for the next samples. Depending on results I may split the next time around and try another lab just for grins. The thing that bothers me about that is which one is correct?? I hate to switch around hoping to find one that sends...

Does Rain-X w/w fluid work very well?

I use it and I like it. You can run with no wipers in all but the heaviest rain, however I'm not advocating that you do that. Later ------------------ 2001 ,2500 ST Light Driftwood QC,LB,ETH,6 speed,3. 54 LS, LT265/75R16, TrTGr, Smoothie, Step Sheilds, C. Crane Truck Antenna, Line-X bedliner...

    Royal Purple

I currently use RP and I will be sampling and changing my oil soon. I have about 9000 miles with one filter change and replacement of 1 qt of oil. The oil analysis (6000 miles) revealed high levels of iron (higher than normal but not through the roof, not alarming but of concern). When I change...
