    Vehicle Stalled

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? If so, what psi are you seeing?

Warning chimes, no codes, no message!

Did you happen to notice if the gauge cluster wakes up immediately when you start the truck as normal or is there a slight delay in the gauges? I had the same thing happen a few years ago and the chime was associated with the gauge cluster not responding immediately when the truck was started...

What's been your most satisfying, yet a** pain job you've done on your 4th Gen?

The evaporator core and heater core is a treat on these trucks. I made my 16-year old do most of it so that I could sit back and enjoy the frustration from a distance.....LOL

Smarty jr. How is their HP rated?

Very interesting. Mine is not hard at all. Approx 60K miles on mine at this point and it has been smooth and easy to operate since I installed it. As mentioned above, it may that I have gotten used to it somewhat, but I could never actually say that mine had a hard pedal feel or major...

Smarty jr. How is their HP rated?

Interesting. How many miles on the clutch? Any other symptoms.

Smarty jr. How is their HP rated?

Are you using the South Bend hydraulics? I haven't noticed any additional pedal effort with my OK-HD with the South Bend hydraulics over my factory clutch.

Smarty jr. How is their HP rated?

I have the South Bend G56-OK-HD in combination with a Smarty Jr. In my opinion, the clutch has a great daily driver feel, tows excellent, and hold the Smarty Jr power perfectly.

    Tipm failure

I'm not certain what difference there was between the '07 5.9 TIPM and the '07.5 6.7L. However, if that Dorman part happens to be available for yours, go for it. I will look to see if I still have the install instructions. But, if I remember correctly, there is just a simple self learn...

    Tipm failure

I used a Dorman TIPM in my '07. I haven't check in a while if they are available. But, it was plug and play.

    A Ford F-150 Diesel???

In tow/haul and while running cruise control, my truck will hold 8th gear until 64 mph where, it will allow it to shift to 9th. In manual mode and tow haul, I can force the upshift to 9th (or even 10th) at a lower speed. But, I have noticed a trans temp climb when I force it. It runs cooler...

    A Ford F-150 Diesel???

I don't have the ACC in my 2018 F150. But, it will downshift in cruise as the expedition rental that you drove. We also have a 2021 Ranger with the ACC. It will downshift in the same manner with the cruise control on. I would assume that the F150 would also. Hopefully one of the guys that...

    Former Daily Driver

Straight up, the more you run it, the less trouble you will have with it. I would at least shoot for at least once a week or more if possible. I have multiple trucks here and the biggest mistake I make is letting any one of them sit for extende periods of time. It never fails that when I do...

    Need heater core replacement help

I used GDP from Rock Auto when I did my evap core and heater core. Fit perfectly.

    Classic Car Insurance for 12V

I have my Square Body Chevy on an agreed value policy with American Collectors. It is a limited use policy with a stipulation that I have another policy with other vehicles that are used as my daily drivers. It is drastically less expensive than what you quoted. If you are not using your...

    A Ford F-150 Diesel???

I have to agree with you on the tires. My F150 was delivered with the same Michelin Primacy XC's that you have and they had to have been one of the worst excuses for a tire that I ever experienced. I replaced them at 30K and frankly they should have been thrown out long before that.

All good things come to an end

My current '07 5.9 will be my last. When this one is gone, it will not be replaced. Don't get me wrong, I still love these things and I've been at this for well over 20 years. I just don't need one anymore or want to deal with the cost and complexity of the new ones. In fact, I'm probably...

    A Ford F-150 Diesel???

Congratulations. I have been very, very pleased with my 2018 F150. So much so, that we picked up a new 2021 Ranger in October. Ford really has come a long way in their offerings and I'm sure that you will be more very happy with yours.

    22 3500 SRW

Possibly. I've probably had to parallel park maybe a half dozen times in my life, once being for my driver's test. I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference.

    22 3500 SRW

Granted, I live in the middle of nowhere. But, I can't imagine too many people wanting to parallel park a 20+ foot truck between vehicles on a city street. Though if you have that driver skill, more power to you.

Our new Ford Ranger has the adaptive cruise. We've had the truck for two months and still haven't had the opportunity to try it. My daughter claims that she likes it though.
