Yep, fuel filter only had about 3500 miles on it. I also put 1/2 the bottle of PS in the tank before I filled up, not to mention I drove another 60 miles before getting home the night before it gelled. Oh well, lessen learned. No more PS for me.

The Power Service was in the white bottle, supposedly containing the anti-gel!!??! I would have thought the fuel would have been blended as well, as it came from a reputable truck-stop. Even if the fuel wasn't blended, I would think that 1/2 of a bottle of fuel treatment would have prevented...

I am getting a lot of black smoke on fairly hard acceleration. Truck runs fine, just wondering about all of the smoke. Any input is appreciated.

I also put a front hitch on my truck. The hitch came from etrailers.com. Did not have to remove tow hooks and yes you have to drill a hole in the frame.

That's a real good looking bumper!! Right now I can't afford to buy that monster just for the front hitch!!

Personally I would stay away from it. However, you should be able to find out the "real" history on the vehicle without much research. Take the 3k and put it into a vehicle that isn't a lemon.

Anyone using the Carr Super Hoop steps. If so, likes and dislikes? Was considering using the super hoop on the front doors and the smaller steps on the rear doors.

Ordered the truck March 8 and will take delivery tomorrow. Not too bad of a wait compared to others!!! Other than driving 70 mph to rule out vibration is there anything else that I should be aware of or to carefully inspect? Thanks in advance.

As far as I know the side impact airbag should come out of the side of the seat.

Airbags on newer vehicles are activated by deceleration (so, technically it is inertia activated). Older vehicles with airbags did have sensors on the front of the vehicle. So with that said, newer vehicles with an aftermarket bumper added should not apply!

Noticed yesterday that DC bumped the rebate up on Dakotas. Wonder after March what will happen with the rebates on the Ram 2500/3500?!?

My Jacobs-E brake seems to have developed a high pitched squeel. Don't know for sure, but seems like it has developed in the colder weather. Any suggestions on what the problem could be and fix would be greatly appreciated!
