    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 98.5 shifts in and out of OD

    My 98. 5 did the same thing. I disconnected the batteries and let it sit overnight, then retrain the APPS. I finally put DTT's filter on and no more problems. It happened about once a month without the filter installed It was worth the few bucks it cost.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) High-Idle solenoid?

    Hi Idler Craig Fairbanks Dodge dealer installs an after market hi idler. They won't sell it unless they install it ($380). Cheaper to buy one over the internet and install it yourself. ($199). Word of advice... Be wary of Fairbanks "Diesel specialty shops". :)
