    48RE and 1st Gear Exhaust Brake

    My dad has an 06 with a 48RE and a PacBrake. Are there any mods that will allow the brake to work in 1st gear? I figured this question has been discussed at length but if it has I must be using the wrong search criteria. I can't find anything on it. Thanks

    Howl in the 3:73 Rear-end

    Mine had a loud howl at 30-35 and again at 65-70. They replaced the ring and pinion and so far it hasn't come back. Replaced at 7,000 and I have 22,000 on it now. 04 2500 QC LWB 6speed 3. 73
