    Need a smoother ride on my 2500

    smoother ride I put Bilsteins on my 03 and it made a big difference. Air pressure does help also. I also have timbrens, but they don't affect the ride unless I'm loaded. Are you sure you have the correct ones installed. You should have about 1" of clearance.

    15,000 mile service? Cost?

    15K service They charged me close to $70. 00 for a fuel fiter and labor. I ordered 3 from a supplier on line and it didn't cost me that much. I sure am glad I can do most of the maintenance myself.

    Bilstein Shocks

    Just replaced the junk stock shocks with a set of 5100 series Bilsteins. Big difference in the ride and handling. Got them for $297. 80 shipped from Hot Rods and Custom Stuff in California. They were very helpful.

    15,000 mile service? Cost?

    15K Service My dealer wanted to charge me $160. 00. It was going to amount to an oil change, rotate the tires and check stuff. I just had him do the scheduled oil change which I already have paid for up to 100K and I have a free rotation at a local tire shop.

    Go with Timbrens. Way less $$$ and they take care of the problem with no leaking air lines and a life time warrantee.

    Performance upgrades

    Well I finally took the step and ordered the performance upgrades. Got a Six Gun with Loader coming, Magnaflow Exhaust and a set of guages. Will get them in next week before the long trip to Ga. camping. Oops, RVing.

    door rattling fixed?

    I had the same problem after they removed my DS panel to replace the rubber strip on the top. The mechanic put some doublesided tape inside the panel and no more rattle or vibration wih the heavy bass. Good luck!
