BFG 315/70/17 tire and level kit questions/opinions ?

I installed 2" spacers the day I drove the truck home and added the 315's at 19,000 miles I now have 26,000 and have had no problems what so ever. I have 4. 10 gears and my mileage stayed the same with the taller tires. Power is still great! Even If I lost a couple of MPG I would still do...

    Fuel mileage

My overhead is always with in 1 mpg of my actual hand calc and I can set the cruise on 55 going down the highway clear my overhead and within 3 miles it will settle in around 14. 1. When I clear it while driving it will start out at around 18 and drop to 14 something within a couple miles...

    Fuel mileage

I just turned 25,000 miles and get an average of around 13. 5-14 even. (this is mostly highway and taking it easy) I got the TSB done for mileage (15,000) and the first tank hand calc to 15. 5 mpg. since then 14 is the best I can get! I have not checked mileage with a heavy load (Afraid to)...

    Considering BFG AT 315/70R17 tires?

I am running 315's with a 2" leveling kit. No rubbing at all. I also get the same mileage with the 315's as I did with the 235's. It aint good but it's the same 13. 5-14 mpg.

    4.10 - 3.73 rear end fule differences

I bought mine with 4. 10's so I could put taller tires and still have some gear left over. If you put some 34. 5-35" tall tires on it, the end result will be the same as 3. 73's with stk tires. Plus I think the bigger tires look good on these new dodges. fills in those huge...

    18 MPG Highway... FINALLY!

I left my speedo calibration alone so the miles won't stack up quiet at fast on the odometer! I just multiply my hand calculations by 1. 0881 which gives me the correct mpg. My mpg is the same with the 315's as it was with the 235's. The 315's help as far as the 4:10 gears go but hurt...

    leveling kits?

Join the club, I put my level kit on the day I got the truck home! As far as if it will fit just look up some spacers on the internet and see if they use different spacers for 02 and the 05.
