    I didnt grind the plate back as far as you did and it is at more of a angle than yours is. I will try to re grind it a to a 0 I think and then try that. Hopfully that works. thanks jason

    I have a 94 1 ton 5 speed. I took the plate out and decided to grind it myself. I ground it so that it looks like a 7 or a backwards 7 which everway you look at it. Put it back in slid all the way forward and it isnt any different. No black smoke it doesnt feel much different to me the star...
