    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP44 and sticks or HRVP?

    just had my VP44 quit on me and im pondering if i want to risk it and go with an HRVP or if i should stick with the stock SO and get some sticks. the risk of surgeing is whats scarein me. i will be towein a 5th wheel and i have herd that HR's are not for toweing. any input?
