    Removed and had alternator tested. It was good. Looks like I have to buy a PCM. New its 875plus tax. Will investigate a used one. Thx all.

    After starting in cold weather with batteries partially discharged and the intake heaters cycling. the alternator quit charging and the check gauges came on. I have a service manual and have checked all possibilities (battery sensor, fuses and relays) and have isolated it down to the alternator...

    Speed Sensor Replacement replacement fixed the shift problem and shifts much smoother now. thanks for the information sure appreciate it. The old sensor had metall shavings attached to the head. this may have contributed to the problem. My cost here in Yukon was 29. 62 including taxes. Thanks again

    i even tried some plus and minus adjustments which still did not help. shorter made it down shift too soon and longer just made worst

    I put on a new throttle cable and adjusted properly (per Service Manuel) and it did not fix problem.

    My auto trans shift points have increased approximately 5 MPH. To try and fix the problem i replaced the pressure sensor and the pressure solonoid and put a new Throttle cable and adjusted bands. This resulted in no change in the shift points. Noticing my front band was worn, i had the trans...
