regeneration

Hello once again with another development. I'll be idling for a while when the regen system will come on, I discovered that when I touch the brake pedal, the regen shuts off and, when I let off the brake pedal, the regen resumes. Where can be the correlation?

2016 - dpf would not self clean and was stuck at 100% even after driving on highway for 45 minutes 75+mph. Chrysler repaired(new one). since then I have not seen a regen display pop up since? used to be almost twice a month. don't know if I had gotten a lemon because its custom ordered or this...

I have a 2015 ram 3500 I'm a hotshot and sleep in my truck. Since it was new if I let it idle more than about 2 hrs it would go into regen mode and overheat itself at idle. I get higher rpms and 230 to 240 temps at 230 I put my foot on the brake or put it in neutral take it out of regen cool it...

2016 Ram Eco-diesel. 6300 miles and I have not yet seen anything about regeneration of the soot filter/screen to burn off carbon buildup. Friend with similar Ram at 10K miles has seen regen 3 or more times. How often should I be seeing a regen message? Or is his doing more than it should?

Most of my driving lately has been back and forth to work, about 40 miles round-trip. Do I need to worry about regeneration? If so, what are the steps to accomplish it? Many thanks
