I am going to purchase a fuel presure gauge, but was wondering if i put on a pusher pump later will i need a 0-30 or will 0-15 be alright, for a 99 thanks in advance Al Mendes
Al, if you are planning on a pusher pump at some time, 0-30 might be a better choice. Most of the guys with pusher pumps are seeing around 20-22 psi's at idle (correct me if I'm wrong, pusher guys). If you are going to stick with a single pump set up, 0-15 should be fine. Autometer also makes a 0-20 boost gauge that you could use. It comes with a vaccum reading as well, hopefully you will never see the needle in that range. I plan on replacing my Ultra lite with one of these in the spring, as I am running the Mallory around 16 psi's (this is my pre-filter gauge) right now. Here's a pic.
