I really think the 0% and 7/70,000 is to induce a buying frenzy on the '02 trucks. They may have another one if things don't pick up when the new trucks arrive at the dealership.
The 7/70 powertrain warranty is NOT a sales incentive. It is a permanent warranty. You will get that on any 2002 or 2003 Dodge, Chrysler, or Jeep vehicle, regardless of other rebates or low-rate financing.
My 2001 had a 5/100 on the Cummins and 3/36 on the rest. Now they have 5/100 on the Cummins, 7/70 on the powertrain, and 3/36 on the rest. Of course, for all practical purposes, the 7/70 should be a 5/70 since I know nobody that actually drives only 10K miles a year. Except my grandma, and she doesn't drive a Cummins.
