Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) '00 3500FWD w/auto

I am looking at a 2000 3500 with an automatic transmission.



I have run a '94 5 speed so I am a little unsure of the transmission in the truck.



It is a one owner with 165,000 miles. The owner said that 80% of the miles is from highway driving.



The engine is fully stock.



What can I expect with an auto v. the manual in terms of pulling power.



Is the transmission in the 2000 a decent unit or was it troublesome?
