I'm sure this has been discussed here, but I can't find what I need, so here it is. My friend has an '01 3500 5spd v10. He also has an '01 2500 5spd 24v that the body is trashed but the engine is good. He wants to put the 24v in place of the v10. As it is a 3500, I believe it has Dana 60 frt and 80 rear, and the trans is the same, so it should be fairly easy there. Our concern is the interface with the PCM and gauges. Anyone know what we need to make this work. Who to call, etc. thanks

I don't know if there are any frame differences, or bolting points, but you should be able to swap out the ECM with the wire harness (ALL OF IT - PDC included and possibly the fuse panel in the cab), and IP cluster, along with the engine and related parts.

I do know that the engine and cab wire harness are not universal. This is going to be a big project.
