I have an 01 24v just had the vp44 and lift pump replaced about 3500 miles ago, the vp44 was a rebuild from Thoroughbread and just a stock lift pump . It's now starting to take a few seconds to start, just when its hot outside (90F+). I have the edge CS2 to monitor fuel pressure and a few other things. I can hear the lift pump working and the monitor says I have 13.2 PSI before starting and 22-23 at idle. Could my vp44 already be going out again?!! I recently just started running "Jet A" fuel in it (I have access to a lot of it), I will only do about 10 gallons at a time (with 2 stoke oil for lube) could this be causing the hard start? I also had issues with edge monitor, I originally wanted the full chip to program but it wouldn't talk with the truck so maybe an ECM problem?? Could an ECM problem cause hard starting\VP44 issues? I'm some what new to the 24v and this forum so I appreciate and help!
