Archived 01 boost with SuperChip

I was going to buy a turnbuckle for my 01 auto, since I tuned the truck on tow safe mode I have noticed my boost up to about 25. It used to peak at 20-21. Will I gain anything by getting the turnbuckle?

I have stock exhaust without the muffler and tailpipe. (it rusted off).

Nope. you nedd a boost fooler with a superchip. Give Haisleys a call. Their kit comes with a better method of blocking the wastegate than a turnbuckle to. And the whole setup is cheaper than a turnbuckle.

What is the benefit of higher boost? Does that help keep the Exhaust temps down?

www.haisleymachine.com is the site A. D. D. [Anti defueling device]is what you're after. Boost is good for less smoke,lower egts and more power to a point. I believe you wont get excessive with just a superchip though. I think it was for about 28lbs when I had one.
