'01 Ford trans ?

My couisin has an '01 F550 with an auto trans, 2 years ago at 38k the cooler line clamp leaked and the trans died. He had it replaced or rebuilt. Now (not sure of milage) when he climbs the short, steep hill to his house with the trailer (12k gvw ) it pukes oil out of the dipstick tube. It doesn't do this all the time, just sometimes.

Any ideas? TIA

Sounds like the transmission is overheating. I'd put a temp guage on it. I'd be willing to be the TC is unlocked.

correction!

I gave out substandard info!

The truck now has 80k on it, and the oil pukes out of the front trans seal, not the dipstick. Thanks, pete
