All right all you guys with 01 HO's

A friend of mine is getting ready to leave town with his 01 2WD DRW HO. He has just installed a leveling kit (1") and it appears that the wingnuts that did the work ripped the left front ABS wire apart and just spliced it back together.

The question now is it is throwing some codes. We don't know if they are related or not they are.

P1693 P1694 and P1697. If any of you guys can help it would be comforting before he leaves town.

Thanks in advance

1693 and 1694 are companion codes. 1697 is probably due to the abs wire - was he driving it while the wire was cut?

I suspect they will clear themselves after 30-40 start cycles. He could go to Autozone and have them cleared. If they are valid then ABS may not work, but if the ABS light isn't on then I suspect they aren't valid codes anymore.

Have a safe trip - hit the road!

P1693, DTC Detected In ECM Or PCM
P1694, No CCD Messages Received From ECM

these are the generic chrysler codes on my list. I could not find one for p1697

This is what I got from my list: P1697 PCM Failure SRI Mile Not Stored

Now if you can make heads or tails from that, be my guest!! :D :D

Alright gentlemen I guess we will do the 30 to 40 start cycle thing and see if they remain cleared.

Thanks again

Merry Christmas
