Archived 01 idle prolem

My 01 6sp runs good until I pull hard for awhile then when I stop for a light etc it will be idiling at 1100 or more until I shut down and restart. Is that a sign of pump failure or a sensor?



The next problem is oil pressure stays about 60 psi as soon as the key is turned on. I've been reading other post and seems to be sending unit is this correct Thanks Bill Ramsey Tow, Texas

Bill had the same thing with my oil press. You need new sending unit. Hope you still have warrenty. Not shure about other prob. Might want to check codes
