I can't seem to find a part number for the driver (or passenger side) weatherstrip piece that follows up the A pillar and across the top of both doors for my 2001 Quad Cab. Not the actual door seal - the one above it. Part #2 in the pic on this page:

I seem to be internet challenged today so any help is much appreciated.

Flumper, either you are way to tired, or really internet challenged today? Possibly I’m mistaking what you are looking for? As I began to read your thread I thought, “LMC Truck has this stuff”, then I see a link to LMC and.... Looks to me like you’ve found what you are looking for “unless” you are trying to find the thin strip of material that is physically attached to the door = runs from the bottom of about where the window starts at the front edge of the door towards the upper edge and stops just around where the angle turns and runs horizontal with the top of the door. It protects the door paint from the seal on the body. If I’m confuse-ual then my apologies.

Hey Joe MC -

Thanks for your response.

I'm trying to find the Mopar OEM part number for the weatherstripping piece that attaches to the body (it slides into place but does have a few screws I think) and runs from the lower corner of the windshield to the rear top edge of the door opening. I think your description is correct. It both protects the body/door frame from the top edge of the doors themselves AND creates a rain gutter that channels water rolling off the roof toward either end.

The LMC truck numbers seem completely unrelated to the Mopar part number...which is what I am looking for.

Truck is a 2001 2500 Quad Cab.

PM your full VIN to me, I had a regular cab VIN I just used for a test...I think it's called a molding....

Mike.

How about "Roof Rail"....Number 12...

Have read your request several times, maybe you are looking for Number 5 in the second pdf above...

I think number 5 (in 2nd image) is the metal mounting rail underneath that attaches with screws.

Therefore I think it's number 13 in the same image... which is also labelled number 8 at the opposite end??!?!?! WT??

The only other issue is that the pic appears to be of an older Club Cab. Mines a later Quad.

So far the closest is # 2 in the LMC image - but without the gobbledy-gook at the end. It's just a simple linear shape.

That is odd that #8 is referenced on one end and #13 is referenced on the other.......

Regardless here are both Part Numbers...

#8 55275394AB MOLDING, DOOR List is $15.75

#13 55275460AD SEAL, BODYSIDE List is $73.35

Looks like those are right and left part numbers but no matter.
Everything appears discontinued.

Geno's advised Dorman.

At least I have good numbers now.
Thanks to everybody for the help. It is very much appreciated.
