Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 01 torque convertor

Had the Auto trans debuilt all is well ,exept I do not like the stall speed

of the convertor.

the engine has to rev. up to much at start off.

what is the stock torque convertor stall speed.

I am going to get them to replace it

If i remember right my stock TC was around 2000-2100 stall, my new one is about a 1600 stall.

yea suncoast made a real difference. i used to have to rev to 1900 - 2100 to get movin, now 1500 rev's moves me past most traffic. great converter
