Selling my truck because of job switch, just won't be able to justify having it around and not driving it.
2002 2500 QC/SB 160K miles
- Auto with HD cooler and supplementary filter system installed by previous owner. Also has Mag-Hytek DD pan.
- 3. 54 rear, averages 20-21 mpg on non-blended fuel.
- 4WD (with CAD) I've had a problem with not getting 4WD to work in high range. I've replaced the vacuum switch on top of the transfer case and tested the lines for leaks - found none. Also tested CAD for free movement, which there is. I was going to throw on a cable system for the CAD and just haven't got around to it, don't use 4WD very much at all, and if I did need it I just used low range.
- Black leather in great shape for its age, no cracks or rips. Dash mat due to cracks in the dash. I put all new carpet in and some sound deadener last year due to a leak in the third brake light assembly. Also have a Kenwood head unit with remote and hook-ups for MP3 and USB.
- Tires and wheels have less than 3K miles on them. I was surprised they are not very loud for the aggressive pattern.
- Black bedliner and gray/green sprayed around the rockers and over the wheel wells. I also built a rear bumper out of mild steel that is sprayed the same as the rockers. Soft top tonneau cover and a behind-the-wheel well tool box with drawers from TSC will stay on the truck.
- Engine is stock (that I know of) with the exception of a K&N cone filter and housing and Edge Juice with Attitude. Straight exhaust with 5" slash cut tip with rolled edges. Doesn't use any oil and holds a minimum of 6 psi FP on wide open throttle with box set on 5. 15 psi FP at idle. I've run Fleetguard filters and Valvoline Premium Blue oil, even taken a couple of oil samples and everything is in spec.
- Completely rebuilt the front-end last fall, switching to T-style steering including new sway bar end links and mounts, new hubs, and new rotors and pads all the way around. Also has steering stabilizer bar.
