Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 02 automatic trans upgrade

I have an 02 2500 4x4 that I want to upgrade the trans. any suggestions? It has an Edge comp box, edge 100 hp injectors, cfm plus intake, afe stage 2 air filter, and 4" mbrp exhaust

With that kind of power a good DTT is in order. You will not believe the difference in how it will put that power to the ground. SNOKING

I would calll Jeff Garmon. He just did my trans this week. Unbelievable shifts. Not hard shifts, like a shift kit, just crisp and firm. No hunting or overreviing between shifts. It pulls hard through the higher gears. Overdrive is awesome. It feels like I added more power, but it's just that the power is getting to the ground. Oh yeah, his prices are not as hgh as many builders. And he builds everything in house.

Thanks for your replys. Sorry it took so long to answer, but I decided to put in a built goerend with bd pressure loc. Seems to be working good so far, plus they give a good warranty.

I have a Goerend on the way. The manual says that the starter and crank shaft position censor must B removed to R&R the transmission. Is this true?

No that is not true, neithr need removed.
