02 Chrysler 300 mpg?

Has anyone had a 2002 chrysler 300? I am looking at a used one for my daughter. She starts collage next year and we live in the far north lots of snow. School hasn't been out a week and already 2 kids are in intensive care, one hit buy a drunk the other hit buy a 90 year old man who had his license taken away 2 years ago. I want something that can take a hit. I would like to know what king of mpg they get. And any problems they have.

Ours gets 27 consistantly. It'll get 30 if ya take it easy, but usually is always around 26 to 27. Corey

We have a 02 Chrysler Concorde LXI which is about the same as the 300. On the road we get 27 to 30 & in town 21 to 23. Really haven't any problems. The cam sensor went out & took the main computer out, covered under warranty.

I have an '05, gets that same numbes the guys have mentioned. 30 to 35 on the road ( miles per imperial gallon)
