My bro-in-law broke the hard fuel line, with the schrader valve fitting on it, while trying to change out the short 3" rubber line between the pump and filter, which went bad. He says this line goes from the inj pump towards the filter canister. Is this a Dodge only part? After it's replaced will air need to be bled out of the fuel system? Thanks for any info.

if its what im thinking of, the hard line thats like 1/4" in diameter, I would replace that with a big line kit, which can be had from vulcans website, its like $45 or so, much better than a stock replacement, will notice a slight increase in fuel pressure. Yeah, air will need to be be bled out, whenever I change my fuel filter I just crack the fitting to the injection pump, does the job fine.
