I know it has been asked and awnsered but I can't seem to find it, but I just got my injecters in last week and am going to try to dyno on May 31 in S. A. Tex. but what horsepower and Torque should I expect? The truck runs good but I was just wondering. Thanks for the help... :)

What EZ setting do you run?

How is your clutch holding up?



Our trucks are similar, our Jeeps are different though;)

On my '01 I had 275 Injectors, Edge EZ, and DynoSources Fueling Box. I dynoed 325 RWHP. Didn't get a readout on torque, but estimated approx. 700-800.
 
Clutch is holding fine, I've got the Ez on three. Im hoping for around 310 hp but was really wondering about the Tq. Got some cool black smoke if I lug a gear and punch it!!! It will squall the tires sometimes in Third when the turbo spools up. And it will pull up to 117mph. I'm hoping to go from 18. 5 to maybe 20 mpg but don't know. I usually drive hwy 70mph or so, with mixed driving in horrible Austin traffic. :) ;) :D By the way what does a Dynosource fueling box as mentioned do?
 
Can someone clear something up for me? Guess I got some confusion goin on upstairs.



How can an HO with an EZ an 275's dyno in at over 300 hp, when an ETC with DD2's and an EZ is pretty much at 300hp?



What makes an EZ and 275's more potent then an EZ and DD2 injectors? The last I heard DD2's put out about any additional 50 hp over 275's. . :confused: :confused:

My truck is a similar set up - with the Comp hooked up as an EZ and DD1's, I dynoed 302 hp at the rear wheels last year - something like 750 ft-lb. I also thought the DD1's were supposed to be a little hotter than 275's, but in the same neighborhood anyway. Maybe could have done a bit better if I would have shifted earlier...

ETH's LOVE injectors. 275's on an ETH net around 65 to 70hp. DDII's net around 90hp or so?
 
It just seems to me that the numbers that steve posted seem more accurate.



I've personally only seen about a 40-42hp gain with 275's in an ETH. Maybe it's our climate I dunno. It is just that 60 hp seem a little high compared to what I've seen.

My 01' HO dynoed at 251hp with the Edge EZ only, then with only the RV injectiors it went to 321 hp. No TQ readings though.

I have an 01 ho. I have straight exhaust 275 injectors and an ez edge box.

you can expect about 45 horse from the box and about 40 from the injectors. And this should be RWHP. plus i may have about an extra 5 horse power with exhaust and air cleaner.

The instuctions for the edge box tell you to set the jumpers for after market injectors,I forgot what that setting is.

As far as my clutch is concerned I have just bought a new south bend clutch. Because my stock one is going south.

ETH/DEE with EZ and 2s... now THAT should be a nice little BOMBination.

Thanks for the help guys, I guess I'll find out in about a week. Does a Mustang Dyno show HP, TQ , and boost? Still not sure what a Dynosource fueling box is or what exactly it does? I was just trying to get a base line to see how my truck compares. Trying to get a buddy to bring a 2002 stroke:eek: with hypertec air intake and FLOWMASTER? exhaust to come and dyno. Probubly skerred:D :D :D
