Ref Previous thread : No steering...

PS Pump is leaking at the seal ( Empty overnight )

I see in the manual that they instructions say to remove Vacuum/PS pump asm.

Can the PS pump be removed without removing the Vacuum pump?

The coupling on the PS Pump, Does that have to be moved to the new pump ?

How hard is it to remove the coupling ?

AND , HELP, Need advise.....

Do what the manual says, it is much easier than trying to remove just the ps pump. The oil seal in the vacuum pump is wimpy at best, and you will probably damage the seal putting the ps pump back in. Take the whole assy out and bench it. You should change the vac pump seal anyway.
