This is info I've posted in ads to enlighten non-performance guru's. What do you think. I bought an 09' so I'm trying to find this truck that I've invested about $30K in a proper home. With 188K starting out at 12,975 seems like it should be a pretty good deal.

Here is a list of the many modifications (including labor) made to this truck and the cost. Dynatrac Free Spin Hubs ($2400)- Truck now gets 19-20 mpg, FASS ($750)- Fuel & air separator, Smarty ($675)- Performance software tool, Edge Comp ($600)- Performance box, Gauges, Snow Performance Digital Water\meth injection ($900)- Performance & longevity, ATS exhaust manifold ($400)- Performance, 4" exhaust, Amsoil Bypass oil filters ($250)- Super filtration for longevity, Spearco intercooler ($1200)- Performance & longevity, Fluidamper ($400)- Performance & longevity, High Tech Turbo 62\13 Super Stock- Performance, ($1800)- Performance, 1. 6 Formula One 90 HP Injectors ($900)- Performance, CFM intake ($325)- Performance, AFE filter ($250)- Superior filtration for longevity, SB Con OFE clutch ($1000)- Longevity, Weld Wheels ($1300)- Forged wheels for looks and safety, Hydro Assist. steering ($2000)- Handling upgrade, Thuren Heavy Duty steering ($600) & track bar ($400)- Improved handling, Dodge Steering Stabilizer ($200)- Improved handling, Fixin Rams column kit ($300)- Improved handling, front end leveling kit & Bilstein Silver shocks ($750)- Improved handling, DT Profab Link Arms ($700)- Improved handling, Rhino liner ($400)- durability, Nerf bars ($250), tint, Ranch Hand bumpers ($1500)- Looks & safety, EGR Carbon\Kevlar brakes and slotted front discs ($800)- Best brakes money can buy, Gooseneck hitch ($400), Firestone Airbags ($400)- Superior for towing, digital brake controller ($150), Bushwhacker fender flares ($300), and many more. Multiple oil analysis reports available as well to prove the great condition of the engine.

Too descriptive on the ad... I see an ad like that, and I know the seller is asking too much. You'll be hard pressed to get more than a grand or so more than whatever they're going for in your local classifieds.

Unless you happen to find somebody looking for an already built truck. Good luck.

I know mods are like swimming pools all the money goes down the drain. I've got the truck listed at $12,975. If I had lots of time on my hands I could probably sell most of the parts on Ebay and then a sell stock truck for almost the same price.

Just under 3 years ago, I sold my highly modded '01, absolutely spotless Regular Cab for a $20,500 to a guy who truly wanted an already built truck. It had 60K miles on it at the time. Keep in mind, that was before the market crash and prices were still up there.

I think that your $12,975 asking price is resonable considering the miles on the truck and the current market. Heck, I've been itching for another 2nd gen and if that truck wasn't half way across the country, I'd be interested. Finding a rust free one here now is next to impossible. I don't think I would let it go to a low ball offer unless you really need it gone now.

The miles are 188K but I run full synthetic oil with Amsoil Bypass and have multiple oil analysis reports that are clean. Texas is a huge truck market but you still have to find the right person who can identify with the mods. The mods are Greek to your average person.
