I suspect that the steering stabilizer on my truck is getting worn out. The truck only has about 60k on it, and hasnt been driven off road more than just a few miles in its life. Just wondered how many miles others are getting on their 2nd gen stabilizers.

Thanks,

TRat

Close as I can narrow it down, it was around 55K on my truck, am at 74K now.
With all of the other steering issues this truck has, I didn't see/feel much difference after replacing it.

I added a Rancho Steering Stabilizer (RAN-RS5404) at 64k miles. The only problem that I had was that the bushing was the wrong size and I had to press out and reuse the OEM bushing for correct fit. At the same time I added the DSS Steering Mount. I noticed a complete difference in the feel (much firmer) but it was probably more the DSS than the new stabilizer.
