Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 0230 code...

I ran out of fuel the other day in my truck. I happened to check the codes several days later and I'm showing a 0230 code, which is something relating to the fuel pump. Could this be related to running the truck empty? My fuel pressure gauge says my pressure is good. Also, if it makes any difference, my fp is relocated onto the frame.

Bad lift pump is the normal cause of the code. Clear it,if it comes back, replace it.

how do I clear the code? And why would my fuel pressure still be good?

Clear it using a scanner. The code is for an electrical failure"out of "range.

The Ecm does not see the amperage it expects at the lift pump
