03/04 Injector pump

Are the lift/injector pumps the same as on the older 24 valve engines??

No they are different. The third generation use's a CP3 pump and different type of lift pump too.

It's the same high pressure system used on the Duramax.

except that D. C. and Cummins tested their engine over seas for a couple of years before releasing it, gee maybe that 6. 0 Ferd should have too huh? Oh yeah that was from the better idea people.

So far the CP3 pump is showing that it is very RELIABLE.
