03-05 aftermarket grilles

Hello all!
My truck's previous owner cracked the outside portion of the grill. I will eventually order an aftermarket replacement.I currently have a black sport grill (not chrome). I would
like to know which aftermarket replacements you folks have been happy with. I will eventually cut out the cross bars and install a grill insert with LED lights. Need to start out
with a good fit and finish replacement. Thanks in advance!

Plastic - good quality. I bought 2 - painted one black and one red using combo of plasti-dip and color match paint (for the red one). The inserts are removable - very easy to do.

Thank you bigceltic. Looks like they have one for my 04.5 for $57. How did the plasti- dip hold up for you on your grille? Did you have to be careful at the carwash, for instance? I am considering
doing the grille and Cummins emblems in flat black plasti-dip. Rest of the truck is de-badged. Your truck looks good with the black wheels,also. Am going to paint mine black eventually.

The plasti-dip has held up very well. Many many car washes. The only place I have peeling is on the wheel caps, but it is easy to touch up. As far the the grille goes, make sure you wash it really well before painting - I used the plasti -dip as my base coat because I figured it would absorb some of the rocks/pebbles that get thrown up and might chip the paint - then I topcoated it with a color paint (color match red or gloss black) and then a couple of coat of clearcoat to seal it all in. The nice thing about the plasti dip is that if you don't like it anymore, peel it off!
