Does anyone know if these heads are all the same im talking the HO engines??

Do the newer heads have improved valve seats??

I lost a valve seat our burnt a valve on my 03 and i was wondering if i buy a new head what would be the best one to get?

I've read that the 04. 5 and up trucks have different heads with better valve seat material so it can withstand the higher EGT's created by the third injection event needed to keep the cat working.



How did it happen? Were you hooked to a sled or trailer?
