03 3.73 gears

Can you get the LSD in the 3. 73 gear ratio in a 03 HO 4x4? A friend is ordering and the dealer says the 4. 10s only offer this option. Seems odd to me Thanks.

When I tried to build a 3/4 ton truck on the Dodge website it would not allow me to have 3:73 and LSD. But! when I went to the dealer and purchased a 1 ton it did have this combo. Could it be that it's only available on the 3500 series which has a slightly larger rear end?

I test drove a 2500 4x4 HO CTD with 3. 73s so the page must be messed up. You can configure a truck that way on kkb and edmunds if your comparing prices. edit, meant to say 3. 73 and the posi.

I just tried out the Dodge site. I didn't have a problem choosing a 3500 with 3. 73 and limited slip with the Cummins. It wouldn't let me choose anything except the 4. 10 with the Hemi, though.
