Hey there, over the last few days my truck has been riding ''rough'' and it feels as though the front end is the culprit... . now, wheels?? I also hear a whirring sound from the front wheels, drivers side for sure maybe passenger too. Tire's look fine, the treads are maybe 50%, pressure's at 59lbs out back and 57 in the fronts.

Nothing is visible (to me) but something is not right.

Could it be a u-joint? (neighbour thinks it is)

I hope I was clear enough. ask for clarification if needed. thanks is advance.

-its always nice to (if needed) take the truck to the shop having an idea of whats wrong. or be able to right it before it gets that bad.

Jack up the front and see if you can wiggle the tire/wheel, checking the wheel bearings. Have a second person be an extra set of eyes and watch for other movement. Just a thought!

Probably the wheel bearings. Rough is the nature when they fail. The front driveshaft would be my next place to look.

well, thanks to the two people who answered me. It was the driveshaft u-joints, and the front drivers side axle u-joint (replacing both fronts and all 3 driveline). Also changing the front rotors and pads just cause they're toast and they have to come off anyhow.
