03 Dually 5.9 2WD Auto trans P0234 overboost

Can use a little help, working on a 03 that is setting code P0234 overboost. It also is blowing black smoke, falled Emission test. The truck runs great.

I have 14 psi and 1. 2volts on the scanner showing boost with KOEO and at IDLE. I believe that it shouldn't be that high? Showing 41 PSI under hard thottle, have boost gauge that shows 24-26psi. Does anyone know if you should see 14 psi, This truck I believe has a Bully Dog chipped. 5. 5 inch exhaust. AFE intake system. Thied a new boost MAP sensor no change.

My need to put it back to OE P/C flash to rule out Bully Dog system.

Repaired truck back to stock, reflashed ECM's. Now have very little smoke, will pass emissions. PS the 14 PSI boost is normal reading, get that on my 6. 7 Cummins. Your reading Atmospheric pressure for are area at 1100 ft.

The truck is getting a Preditor system and puck installed next week.
