what to do? what to do?? any and all advice appreciated.

currently own 94 2wd std cab. want to order 03 ho 6spd std cab 8' bed slt. is single rear wheel 3500 better choice than 2500?

i pull race car trlrs 850mi one way to NE. Don't want dually

using my 94 now but have low power on PA mts. which is better jake brake---factory option or outside vendor?

Depends on your tongue load. If your present truck slouches under the load, you may want to go up to the 3500. I have however heard people complain of spring slap when loaded with just enough weight to come close to the overload springs. It seems when they hit a bump and the O/loads hit, their kinda harsh. Maybe a 2500 with airbags would be a good choice too.

I had them on my last rig and they were great.

Thats what I have, some slap at about 1200 to 1400 pounds. I just move the weight to put the overloads on the stops and its gone. Its just annoying on a stretch of stutter bump dirt road, and on freeway concrete thats just lumpy enough. Its not bad, it just doesn't glide along like I want without shifting some weight.
