My friend lives in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and called me. He is on the side of the road and says his truck was shifting hard, and then all of a sudden it seized up and then skidded to a stop at full speed. He can push the clutch in and start the engine, but as soon as he lets the clutch out it stalls the engine like it is in gear - but it is in neutral. He said there is oil on the bottom of the transmission, like maybe it cracked the housing or something. Does anyone know if he should take it to the Dodge dealer in Mexico? And should he pull his PowerMax CR off before he takes it there? I can't find anything where this has happened before - I have searched. Thanks in advance!

So what was the problem and did warranty cover it. He is on the side the road right now trying to get tow truck. Gotta love trying to get anything done in Mexico :--)

128 k on it at that time. No warranty. Not that they ever fixed anything when it was under warranty. Good luck to your buddy. Mexico is one place I would not want to break down .
