is anyone making a really nice pillar mount yet?

3 gauge hopefully

Ive been told the ones that are out dont fit well?

what are other people doing with their gauges?

pictures please;)

My Neighbor

Elite 1, just bought one from Geno's and it does not fit well at all. He was kind of dissapointed with it. Not sure if it was a bad one or they just don't fit right. He was going to call and see if they can send him another one to try. The problem with it is the hole which is used to screw to the apillar does not line up and on the front side the opening sticks way out (about 2") into the windshield so you can see the back of the gauges and wiring. If he gets his new one soon I'll try to get some pics for you. I'm sure you'll get some more help here good luck... ... . :D

That's the reason that most online install guides suggest cutting the handle off the stock a-pillar and putting the gauge pillar over it. Or I've also heard of putting a piece of electrical tape down the side of the windshield so that you can't see the gauges from outside the truck.

I got the 3 gauge mount from Diesel Dynamics. It can be used over the stock A pillar plastic trim with the handle cut off, or by itself. I did the latter, and put the stock trim in the attic. The fit is very good. The local auto paint shop has spray cans for plastic, and the phantom white was a fairly good match--if it had a bit of gray in it, it would have been perfect.

I really dont want to cut off the handle

and

I really dont like the idea of seeing the back of the gauges

anyone have pictures of the DD one?

Agades,

New A-pillar piece is $53. 80 from Mopar (cheaper than the gauge pod) so go ahead and hack the handle off. It fits much better that way.
