'03 Rear main seal part #

... sure its been covered here before, but darned if I can find it. Going to pick up a rear main seal, hopefully thats where this oil is comong from underneath as of late. Going to swap in my other 5600 to make sure its working OK and going to throw a seal at it while i'm at it also. TIA!!!!

Are you sure it's the seal? Mine dripped oil off the bottom of the bell housing and once we got it on a lift, it was obvious it was coming from the draft tube.

when i had mine off it was coming from the rear cam seal.



the part number for the main seal you are looking for is 5114027AA

Not entirely sure , it is something coming out of the small opening in the bottom of the bellhousing, just figured I'd pick up a seal beforehand so i have it, hope it's nothing else.

Is that a Cummins number or Dodge part number? Cam uses a seal also, thought it was just a cam plug.

thats a dodge part number. yes there is a little seal in the back of the trans adapter plate that meets the back of the cam. mine was leaking. all i did was clean it very well and reinstalled it leak gone.
